Sometimes you have to take a break from painting, sanding and knocking down walls to take in the gorgeous spring blooming all around us!
We are very disappointed to report that there will be a delay in our opening. We want to make this the best experience possible and insure the safety of each and every guest who chooses to stay with us. That means having the most up-to-date electrical system, in room air conditioning & heat, new plumbing (in an 1835 farm house)... all of which takes much more time than we anticipated! Please check our blog and website for a new opening date announcement :) Thank you for your patience and support! Corey
Nothing made us happier than seeing a full construction crew in the Inn's driveway this morning! WOW!!! We are fully under massive renovation! It's going to be beautiful :) While we were taking up 1960's linoleum we found some original 1800's hardwoods and uncovered an original beam in a downstairs bath. Like a treasure hunt!!
We will have keys in-hand in exactly 5 days. Contractors are at the ready, wall paper stripping gear is purchased, rug removal tools in the car and we're so excited, we can't sleep. Pictures coming soon!
11 States and 5 Days drive with the babies (dogs) and we MADE IT!!!
Today we received our first reservation for July 6, 2018. Thanks to Dale & Louise for directing the call to us :)
Waiting for final inspection items to be identified. We need gutters and some water intrusion taken care of. That beautiful tree in the photo above (far right) may need to come out as it may be dying - oh no! Everything should be resolved today!
